Hickman Bridge Trail: Capitol Reef National Park
Enter Slide Show

Hickman Bridge Trail: The trailhead is just off Hwy. 24 near the Visitors Center. This is an easy, 2.4 mile round trip trail. For those with bad knees, there are a lot of steps on it. You initially climb; then the trail dips down before going up again toward the bridge. You go under the bridge so you can view it from several angles.

The bridge is substantial with a 133 foot span and 125 foot height. The terrain around it is varied and beautiful. I highly recommend this trail.
