Munds Wagon – This trail leaves from the trailhead off Schnebly Hill Road. It is a shared parking lot also used by those doing the Margs Draw and Huckaby hikes so it can be full. Just passed the parking lot, Schnebly Hill Road becomes a very rough, dirt/rock road, and you need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to continue on it. The Munds Wagon trail parallels Schnebly Hill Road which is heavily traveled by guides in jeeps so you hear them frequently but not for very long at a time. This is the downside of this hike. However, it is more than made up for by the beauty of the hike.

The full hike is 4 miles one way with approximately 1,000 feet elevation gain which is mostly toward the end. Merry-Go-Round Rock is at about 3 ½ miles and can be a good turn around spot if you don’t want to go the whole way. The view from Merry-Go-Round Rock is spectacular, looking down the valley toward the town.

FYI - There is a loop trail off Munds Wagon. Hangover Trail connects with Cow Pies and they add approximately 2 miles to the trail. My photos are not taken from these trails.
