Chimney Rock Loop Trail - 3.6 miles, 590 ft elevation change. This is a beautiful trail off Hwy 24 just west of the Capitol Reef Visitor Center. The climb is at the beginning and the loop itself is fairly level. While the Park rates it as strenuous, I'd rate it as moderate.

While Chimney Rock is quite special and stands out from the rest, there are wonderful views all along this trail. There are also many different kinds of rock along trail so I have 2 sections - one for general views from the trail and one showing some of the many rocks along the trail for those of you who might like this detail.
