Fire Wave Trail Trail. Fire Wave is an easy hike that is 1.5 miles out and back. It starts from the P3 parking area. However, it is better done as a loop with the Seven Wonders trail which makes it a 1.8 mile loop. None of it is very difficult and the views from both are amazing and different. There is a sign on the trail when Fire Wave ends and Seven Wonders continues. It is the last slide in my slide show. Unless you are really strapped for time, I highly recommend that you do the loop. The color in the rock changes so much that you keep being presented with new views. If you don’t want to do the full loop, you can continue on Seven Wonders until you come to the road. The trail crosses over it but I saw people being picked up or let off at that point. It is worth it as the slots that are seen before the road are not high but they are so beautiful that you don’t want to miss them. See my Seven Wonders slide show.
