Seven Wonders Trail. This is an amazing trail. It continues from Fire Wave, crosses White Dune Road, and then circles back to the parking area. On it, you will pass rock formations with the most amazing blend of colors plus the trail goes through a beautiful slot canyon with short walls and then later on the other side of White Dune Road, you go through another slot with higher walls. And then there are the colors: yellow, red, pink, lavender and more. While the sign says it is moderately strenuous, I thought it was a pretty easy hike.

As I mentioned in the Fire Wave hike, this is a loop that goes southeast from parking area P3. First there is the short but interesting Fire Wave Trail which connects with the Seven Wonders Trail; crosses the White Dome Road and continues northwest back to the parking lot. You can have someone pick you up at White Dome Rd where you cross it. Slide 10 shows the marker on the other side of the road where the trail continues the loop.

If you don’t turn north towards the parking, you will end up at the White Domes Trail by the old movie studio marker.
