Blue Basin Hike - it is a short hike through the wonderful blue-green Turtle Cove formations. Many fossils have been found here and there are some samples along the trail but you don't see any actual fossils here. Great hike though.
Journey through Time - these are photos taken along scenic highway 19 called Journey through Time. It includes photos of the Picture Gorge Basalts, Sheep Rock Mountain, Goose Rock, and Cathedral Rock. Quite a beautiful drive as you turn north off Hwy. 26 onto Hwy. 19.
The Thomas Condon Paleontology Visitors Center - This Visitors Center features over 500 fossils from plants and from animals you would not expect, as millions of years ago this was a more tropical land that featured 3 toed horses, rhinos, large cats and more. Exhibits show fossils from 8 periods from 7 million to 33 million years ago. There is also a viewing window where you can watch scientists working on actual fossils to prepare them for study.
