Whiterocks Trail/ Whiterocks Amphitheater: This trailhead (TH) is ½ mile north of the Snow Canyon Drive/State Route 18 junction. Trail splits shortly after leaving the TH. It goes right to a natural sandstone amphitheater a mile from the TH. If you go left, the trail takes you south and meets up with Lava Flow Trail in 2 miles. Most of my photos are of the amphitheater which is a wonderful place to explore. The sandstone forms stairsteps so you can wander all over the area. There is a low spot between cliff where you can look through to the red rock cliffs south of you (slides 7-9).
