Joshua Tree National Park - This is a very large park in Southern California. The southern part is flat, has no Joshua trees, and is not very interesting in my opinion except in the spring when wild flowers can blanket the area. The northern part of the park entered through Twentynine Palms has Joshua trees and massive boulders of monzogranite which are quite amazing. It also has many wonderful hikes plus great views just driving around the area. For those who may not be able to hike, there is still plenty you can see.
